Five former cabinet ministers and the Flin Flon MLA who spoke out against Premier Greg Selinger will remain in caucus with restricted duties.
Riel MLA Christine Melick is also welcomed back into the fold under the same limitations.
Selinger said the members will sit as NDP caucus members but won't be allowed to attend caucus meetings or be part of the decision making process.
Selinger said a committee has been struck within the party to determine if the members can have their full privileges restored in the future.
He said the six members are being punished for breaching caucus confidentiality when they openly questioned his leadership.
