Manitobans with muscle wrestled for a chance to win an important title Saturday.
The 2015 Provincial Arm-Wrestling Championships were held at the Four Crowns Inn Hotel in Winnipeg.
On hand were some of the best arm wrestlers in Manitoba, with awards up for grabs including best team, best youth and match of the day.
“We have a lot of master pullers here, which means they are 40 years and over. And once we all start retiring, because I’m 53, we need the young ones to come up and keep Team Manitoba big,” said arm wrestler Lori Pow.
The national event will be held in Vancouver this year, where the Canadian champs will be crowned and move on to the world event in Malaysia.
