Winnipeg police released a sketch of a man suspected of breaking into a woman’s home and assaulting her.  

The woman was home alone at her residence on Regent Avenue during the afternoon of Feb. 21 when a lone suspect was able to get inside. The woman confronted the suspect, who assaulted her and fled on foot, said police.

Police describe the suspect as white, in his late 20s, between five feet, nine inches (175 centimetres) and five feet, 10 inches (178 centimetres) tall, with a medium build, brown eyes, scruffy brown hair and orange coloured facial hair. He wore an oversized black hoodie with a pocket in front, old blue jeans and beige work boots.
