Police seize nearly $800,000 worth of marijuana and grow-op equipment from Gilmore Ave. home

Officers said they have seized more than 660 cannabis marijuana plants from a Winnipeg home.

The estimated value of the marijuana is pegged at more than $740,000. Police also seized grow-op equipment worth about $20,000.

Members of the drug unit, tactical support team and uniform members raided a home in the 300 block of Gilmore Avenue around 8:00 p.m. Thursday, said police.
