One year later the Selinger government continues to sell the unpopular provincial sales tax hike.
The province unveiled a five-year $5.5 billion infrastructure plan.
Infrastructure Minister Steve Ashton calls the plan ambitious and says it would not be possible without the PST increase.
Most of the major projects outlined in the plan were previously announced since the tax went up.
The City of Winnipeg will see $250 million.
The province paid the Conference Board of Canada to analyze the program.
The organization claims the plan will create 59,000 jobs.
