According to the City of Winnipeg, a section of Skywalk between the RBC Convention Centre and the Delta Winnipeg Hotel will reopen in the coming days.
The section has been closed to foot traffic since early April after issues with the connection to the Convention Centre were discovered.
Interim shoring supports have been installed and the city says it is now safe for people to use again.
Over the next few months, permanent repairs will be made to the walkway and that will require more closures.
In the meantime, that portion of Skywalk will only be open during operating hours of the RBC Convention Centre.
