Winnipeg fire crews spent early Wednesday morning putting out a house fire in St. James.
Officials said the blaze broke out around 2:30 a.m. on Albany Street.
One woman was taken to hospital in stable condition for smoke inhalation, they said.
Damage to the home is about $150,000.
The cause is under investigation, but officials say it appears the fire started in the basement.
