More possible delays for West End swimmers hoping to dip back into the Sherbrook Pool.
After a long time of waiting, this fall the City of Winnipeg said construction on the pool should be finished at the end of January.
Now, according the Friends of Sherbrook Pool, there is a delay with permits and inspection, and filling the pool with water.
The group says these issues this could take a couple months to resolve. They hope the pool will reopen for spring break.
In a statement to CTV, the city said from the outset, the pool was supposed to open in spring 2016.
It said work is progressing on schedule and on budget.
