A suspicious fire in the 500 block of Home Street destroyed a car and damaged a garage, a shed and  homes in the area, causing $300,000 in damages.

The fire started in the car around 6:00 a.m. and spread to the structures. No one was injured in the fire.

The Winnipeg Police Service Arson Unit is investigating.
