A 59-year-old employee at Russel Metals in Winnipeg died after he was injured on the job Thursday.
The incident happened around 3 p.m.
Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) went to the business on St. James Street near Saskatchewan Avenue and issued a stop work order on the movement of metals with overhead cranes.
Russel Metals must now do an internal investigation into the incident and report to WSH.
The investigation is ongoing.
