Saturday’s storm left behind a trail of fallen trees, downed power lines and flooded streets.
Catch basins could not keep up with the amount of rain that fell. The city received almost 120 reports of plugged catch basins.
Throughout the city of Winnipeg, between 30 and 60 millimetres of rain fell.
With a total of 62 millimetres of rain, Environment Canada said Charleswood got the most of it.
Manitoba Hydro said 4,000 people were left without power Saturday. City crews are still working hard to restore it in some parts of the city.
The city said they have had 88 calls about fallen tress since Friday around noon. They said most of the calls on Saturday were from the Transcona area. Two forestry crews were out till midnight.
On Sunday morning, the city said they had three forestry crews out and were receiving calls about downed trees from all parts of the city.
The city is urging residents to call 311 to report a tree related concern.
