Two funds have been set up in memory of the three young boys that died in a crash on Feb. 10 near Waskada, in southwestern Manitoba.

One fund is to help with funeral costs for the family of Dawson Pentecost. Those donations can be dropped off or mailed to the Village of Waskada at Box 40, 103-2nd Street Waskada, Manitoba, R0M 2E0.

The other fund, though the Waskada Athletic Club, has been set up to help send students to summer hockey camps.

Pentecost and Gage and Logan Spence all played on the same team in Waskada.

Donations can be made through branches of the Sunrise Credit Union.

Darren Spence, Gage and Logan’s father, also died in the crash.

The assistant coach for the boys' hockey team, Jason Wickham, says the families want the team to carry on.

He says the three boys' team numbers will be pasted on the other players' helmets during league playoffs later this month.

The Transportation Safety Board of Canada continues to investigate the plane crash near Waskada.

On Feb. 12, the TSB released an image of the plane crash.

Officials said a Hercules aircraft from Winnipeg was used to locate the downed aircraft on Sunday.

The investigation into the crash is expected to take months.
