Many fans who paid top dollar for tickets to the sold-out Pink concert at the MTS Centre Tuesday night found out they had been scammed.
The pop star postponed her Truth About Love tour in October. Concert promoters honoured original tickets on Tuesday.
The show sold out in minutes on Ticketmaster, which drove fans to buy from scalpers. The MTS Centre reports an unusually high number of fake tickets for this tour, consistent with other Canadian markets, and blames high demand.
They said the tour is particularly vigilant about checking tickets.
