The newest mayoral candidate says she will raise property taxes but promises to keep the hikes reasonable.
In front of 200 supporters Tuesday, Judy Wasylycia-Leis launched her campaign saying she will keep tax increases connected to the rate of inflation and population growth.
The candidate pledged her first priority, if elected, is to fix Winnipeg's roads, sidewalks and water mains.
Wasylycia-Leis is one of seven candidates running for mayor.
