Thousands of Manitoba workers are getting a pay raise. The province announced Wednesday that the minimum wage will go up $10.70 per hour in October.
That's a 25 cent increase from the current minimum wage of $10.45 an hour.
It also makes Manitoba’s minimum wage the fourth-highest among other Canadian jurisdictions.
The NDP government has increased the minimum wage every year since 2000.
