Social media campaign aims to solve MMIW cases

The RCMP have launched a social media campaign to solve cases of missing and murdered aboriginal women.

Until October 12, the RCMP is sharing photos and information about missing women and girls on Facebook and Twitter.

The force asks the public to go online and get engaged. The hope is the campaign will generate new tips and leads.

All of the profiles of the missing people have been featured on the Canada's Missing website. Each person's profile comes with information and a poster that can be printed.
