Winnipeg's suspended CAO has quit.
Following a closed-door session of the mayor's inner circle, Brian Bowman announced Deepak Joshi has resigned.
Bowman would not provide more details.
Last month, Bowman suspended Joshi, saying he had lost confidence in the acting CAO.
Joshi was placed in the position after former CAO Phil Sheegl was forced out during the fire hall scandal and when cost overruns with the new police headquarters became public.
It's unclear if Joshi will get severance for his departure.
