A severe storm on Saturday morning left people scrambling to find a place to stay dry.
Throughout the city of Winnipeg, between 30 and 60 millimetres of rain fell.
With a total of 62 millimetres of rain, Environment Canada said Charleswood got the most of it.
The hardest hit area in Manitoba was the small hamlet of Domain, south of La Salle, that got 87 millimetres of rain.
As a result of the severe weather, up to 4,000 people have been affected by power outages across Winnipeg.
Manitoba Hydro said they have been extremely busy working to restore power. They said they are using every available resource to get lights back on for customers.
In Winnipeg, the largest outages are being reported in Transcona. However, there are pockets of outages all over the city.
Manitoba Hydro is urging people to report outages online and, in case of emergencies, they want people to phone them directly.
Environment Canada also received reports of significant hail. Cottages in Grand Beach saw baseball-sized hail.
They said they received reports of golf-ball-sized hail that fell in Matlock Manitoba.
