Sources have told CTV Ray Rybachuk, 42, has died after a snowmobile mishap in the Rural Municipality of St. Andrews.
Selkirk RCMP and paramedics responded to the area around 10:00 a.m Sunday morning. According to police, the victim was riding his snowmobile when he veered off into the ditch.
The victim was responsive when emergency crews arrived, said police, but his condition worsened. Paramedics attempted to perform CPR, but they couldn’t revive him.
The victim was wearing a helmet when he fell off the snowmobile, said police.
RCMP continue to investigate.
