Thousands of Winnipeggers filled the streets to take in over 100 floats in this year’s Santa Claus Parade Saturday night.
The parade kicked off at 5 p.m. at Portage Avenue and Young Street to Main Street and found its way to William Stephenson Way.
The festive demonstration was led by parade grand marshal Desiree Scott, an Olympic Bronze Medal winner. And for the first time Mrs. Claus made an appearance in the parade.
The parade shuttered a number of roads along its route and affected many bus routes. For more information on detours and bus route changes, click here.
