A man is in stable condition following a stabbing in Windsor Park Sunday.
Police were called to the area of Elizabeth Road and Drake Boulevard, east of Archibald, just before 9 p.m.
A 22-year-old man had been in the area when he was approached by a suspect who asked to use his cellphone. The victim refused and the suspect pulled out a weapon and stabbed the victim, said police.
The suspect then fled the scene.
Officers were seen on foot searching the neighbourhood.
Police said a 23-year-old suspect faces a range of charges, including aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
