SHAUNAVON, Sask. - Environment Canada confirms a tornado has touched down in southwest Saskatchewan.
It happened near the communities of Dollard and Shaunavon, but touched down in a relatively open area.
No injuries have been reported but the accompanying storm has flooded streets and knocked trees onto parked cars.
Volunteer firefighter Joel Sopp says emergency workers and townspeople are busy trying to clear the debris.
Environment Canada says a thunderstorm warning is in effect for that corner of the province.
