Visitors at The Forks on Sunday were given a glimpse of what farming looked like in the early 20th Century.
The Springfield Tractor Club brought some of its classic tractors out for a public show. The oldest dates back to 1912.
“We like to see ourselves as a better alternative than the scrapyard,” said John Holland of the Springfield Tractor Club.
Organizers said the show is well received by people who grew up in the country. They said it helps introduce city folk to what it was like on the farm back in the old days.
